Use Case

Ideal for crafting high-performance and visually striking blades, including:

  • Custom hunting knives
  • Kitchen or chef knives
  • Folding knives (EDC)
  • Collector-grade or presentation blades

The White Flower Mosaic pattern delivers a refined, organic look with even grain flow, making it perfect for decorative yet functional knives.

Heat Treatment Recommendation

To achieve optimal results for 1080 × 15N20 Damascus:

  1. Normalize: Heat to 870 °C (1600 °F) and air cool 2–3 times
  2. Austenitize: Heat to ~800 °C (1475 °F)
  3. Quench: Warm oil (~60 °C / 140 °F)
  4. Temper: 200–205 °C (390–400 °F) for two 1-hour cycles

Proper tempering yields 58–60 HRC, providing an ideal balance of edge retention and toughness.
