Use Case

Ideal for crafting:

  • Hunting and field knives
  • Utility and EDC blades
  • Kitchen and chef knives
  • Artistic and collector-grade custom blades

The Spider Web Mosaic pattern delivers a bold, organic texture—perfect for high-contrast, visually striking blades.

Heat Treatment Recommendation

For optimal performance with 1080 & 15N20 Damascus steel:

  • Normalize: Heat to ~870°C (1600°F), air cool (2–3 cycles)
  • Austenitize: Heat to ~800°C (1475°F)
  • Quench: Warm oil (~60°C / 140°F)
  • Temper: 200–205°C (390–400°F), 2–3 cycles of 1 hour each

This process typically achieves a hardness of 58–60 HRC with a strong balance of toughness and edge retention.
